WELCOME!
Come on in, get comfy, take your shoes off, sit back and hang out for awhile. The story of where I started my journey isn't a typical jump off point. Indulge me for a moment, lets go back to 1979 when disco was still in, dark brown paneling with orange/green tweed rugs were all the rage... I had a sister named Susie who was diagnosed with leukemia and I used to hide downstairs in the basement listening and singing to music, that helped keep life in perspective. I also wrote poetry about how I felt. I was lucky, God gave me a great getaway, this soothed my soul. Ok, come back to 2006, thanks goodness, I can't handle having another Dorothy Hamill haircut. great hubby and kids, something was still missing. One day it just occurred to me. Music. I left it all behind when I became an adult. Thank God my hubby loves me cause I jumped in up to my elbows! I eat, live, n breathe music! I've added a new direction in my life that includes songwriting as a career. I am an intern with a small company called "Songstarters" which coincidently is in the music publishing business. Well, that's me in a nutshell. So, Here I am! I hope you enjoy my songs and poetry as much as I do. Kathy
